Friend of mine Nancy had her kid in there (girl) some 3-4 years ago it was great but changing fast. The daycair, pre, and Grade schools are now mostly Central American kids up there.
She moved to Munsy Park to get her kid out of the district after listening to her friend next doors kid talk this Spanglish

My daughter attends Friends Together Nursery School in Port Washington. It is just off of Shore Rd. on Manhasset Ave. And no, the school is not all Central American, Spanish speaking kids. As a matter of fact, all of the children in my daughter's class are Irish, Italian, etc. and Jewish. Not that it should matter though. What matters is that it is a wonderful preschool and I would higly recommend it to anyone. Please feel free to ask any questions!!

The private pre-schools are not all Hispanic. I'm sending my kid to St. Peter's and its not that way at all.

The public-pre school is like what you say but it doesn't reflect the private pre-schools.

I couldn't send my kid to the public pre-school program even if I wanted to. 80% of the kids must be below the poverty line and the other 20% just above it. I'm not anywhere near those levels even with my wife not working.

He's right I spoke with Nancy today the trouble started when her kid went PS 1st grade and started picking up disciplinary, behavior and bad language problems (kicking in the legs came first) from the Hispanic kids who were over 1/2 the classroom.(Port Washington)
The teachers had there hands so full they had to basically abandon the good kids who parents pay the salaries.
She was so PISSED had to put the kid in St.Marys in Manhasset.
