If you could replace, improve, or add one piece of infrastructure in Long Island, what would it be? (Brookhaven: house, inspection)

I think the usage of the word "high speed" in the term "high speed rail" is what attracts people to the concept, but many of you are forgetting that the term is reserved for rail services which operate in speeds excess of 100mph. A rail service like that cannot be efficient if it’s making stops every 10 miles.

Add north/south rail connections at multiple points on the island.
