I had to look this up because it was a leetle before my time:
Yoo hoo, it's me,
My name is Pinky Lee. I skip and run with lots of fun For every he and she. It's plain to see That you can tell it's me With my checkered hat And my checkered coat, The funny giggle in my throat And my funny laugh Like a billy goat. That's it, whooooo! Pinky!

This popped into my mind and wondered if anyone remembers the drinking straws that you would put into a glass of milk and if you had a brown and white striped straw you would get chocolate milk, if it were pink and white you would get strawberry milk?
Anyone remember?

Remember Gouz-rhymes with cows. There used to be one on Dutch Broadway and when your mother went into the store to shop for juice and dairy, they left the children out back behind the store to play with the animals-sn suervision and yes dirty and yes dirty animals-that was fun!

I went to school with Jackie Gouz and lived off Dutch Broadway. Did you live anywhere near there? We had relatives that came in from New Jersey with large coolers to buy milk and juice and whatever else they had. If you got to Gouz after 9:00am on Saturday or Sunday it was a long wait.
