I am having our house resided with vinyl siding. We would like to replace the storm/front doors as well. Problem is the storm/front doors we want will not be available until after the siding is done.
I would imagine it would be better to have the doors installed before the new siding but this is not possible. Does anyone know if this will be a problem? When replacing storm/front doors do they touch the siding as well?
There is flashing that the siding ends at so you could do it first. Abutting that flashing will be your door frame or maybe some decorative trim surrounding your door frame.
Depends if the door has a nailing flange or brick molding attached. You can always remove the siding and re-install.
