I realize that her job requires her to be in the office. But can it be done during non-traditional hours or on weekends? I don't know what her job is, so I'm just asking.

In any case, they should try to keep the roads clear for jobs that absolutely have to be done in person during traditional hours, and try to make accommodations for others.
If it could be done in non-traditional hours dont you think thats what i'd be doing?

But the cost of living is so high, your real income is low compared to most of America. That's why you can't afford to live in the city.

But you are too much of a doormat to stand up to your employer, even if your job could be done during traditional hours.

Your job gives you absolutely no vacation time at all? I'm sure glad I don't have your job. What would happen if you were incapacitated and absolutely could not work on a particular day? Sounds like your employer is a bad planner.
