Like I said, I don't know how much electric would cost because I have oil heat. I do know that I pay a ****load for winter heating.

See if you can have an indirect water heater installed - it acts like a zone on your current system - no separate burner.

Just for the record it is an "oil fired water heater" that is you aren't heating hot water.

I also switched to electric for hot water this year. Cheaper then oil.

I use like 50 gallons of oil the whole summer to heat hot water......... May-Sept.

OK, that's about $40 a month. My el bill went up $15 to $20 a month when I switched. Why do you find this so hard to believe???
