I understand that. So...how would being rich hinder that? You could stay home from work (if you worked at all) and spend time with them, possibly hire in-home healthcare and even relocate them if you and they so desired. If it's an immediate family member, then of course separating from them isn't plausible, but having money would certainly make that situation much easier.

I know how stressful it can be dealing with a sick family member. Kudos to you and stay strong.

It wouldnt but my husband and i would never be rich on LI. I could move to somewhere like AL and be very well off but why? Family is everything and I'd rather stay here and live on the street than have a better COL away from my family.

I commend your attitude!!! I think it is wonderful that you put so much emphasis on family. I wish more people did the same.

I'm sure if you keep working hard and have a positive outlook you will reach your goal of achieving both stability with your family and financial freedom. All you have to do is Bolieve!

If that bothers you, you can ignore my posts.

At any rate, I don't want this to detract from the OP. RecentlyMoved, you said you moved to Cary, right?
Yes I did.

I have no idea. I've never been to Charlotte. I don't live anywhere near there.

I don't know if it'll help any, but if I hear of anything fun going on down there, I'll post it in this thread for you
