Man is not free unless government is limited.
Ronald Reagan

"The more corrupt the state, the more numerous the laws."
— Tacitus (The Annals of Imperial Rome)

A popular way for ticket camera manufacturers to “get their foot in door” and quiet opposition of speed cameras in a city is to mention that the cameras will be installed in school zones. After all, what politician wants to be seen as being against “improving” the safety of children?

When law enforcement becomes about money, which is what has happened with photo enforcement, it breeds conflicts of interest (or corruption). Redflex, one of the speed camera companies is already almost out of business because of its illegal practices (particulary in Chicago). ATS (Nassau County’s new law enforcement branch) is sure to be next. EXPOSED! $95,000 red light camera donations smells of bribery in East Cleveland EXPOSED! $95,000 red light camera donations smells of bribery in East Cleveland | Cleveland Challenger and Ban Red Light Cameras in Missouri

"dozens" protesting is not going to get anything done. You'd need thousands to really send a message. The criminial politicians are laughing their butts off at the dozens that protested. Sad to say.

These people are really stupid. They are basically saying their speeding through school zones is perfectly OK. Wow.

Default $$$ to the school district?

If the County claims it's not about the money and only for the safety of the children the County should give the money to each individual school district and not to the pension plans of the county workers. The money should go back into the school and not to the teachers salaries.
