No I am not. It was the property tax relief check they (upstate) received already (not talking about the 350 one). And several others on the thread claimed to have gotten theirs this month. So unless they are lying you are still wrong.

Got mine today finally. It was the amount of my last tax increase, quite a bit more than 75 bucks. It's going to vary from person to person.

still no check ! I called Albany today and the response from the person I spoke to was "We had to send out many more checks than we anticipated, that's why it's taking so long".
I wonder if the cold weather up in Albany causes a brain freeze haha.
Anyway, I realize it's only a hundred bucks or so, but the hold up bothers the heck out of me. If I was to owe the state a nickel, they would come after me and charge me 12% interest from the due date. I jokingly asked the operator if I would get a little extra when the check finally arrived. She did not find that funny.

A serious question: Since I will (hopefully) be receiving this check in 2015 now, do I still have to claim it on my 2014 return since it's a 2014 rebate ? Or do I wait and file it on my 2015 return ? Arghhh.
Happy New Year everyone.
