Can anyone recommend a good place in suffolk to buy wheels and tires?

Googled a lot of different places but wanted to see what the CD'ers say

Thanks!

for tires: all weather tires, Huntington Station. The price they give you includes all but tax ! no extra charge for valves, install, balance etc.
You will be told that there is a $2.50 disposal charge per tire. Alignment, etc is extra of course.
They are extremely fast and have a great selection.

Traction Plus on Hawkins Ave in Lake Ronkonkoma. They are fair and honest. Highly recommended.

My mechanic sent me there once. I was kind of reserved when I drove up since they had groups of people hanging around waiting for business to pull up. They have 2-3 guys work each job. The place had no lifts but manual jacks. I have staggered wheels and one guy put the wrong tire on the wrong wheel but was corrected by another guy. They didn't damage the wheels though and I was happy with the work. All in all it was an interesting experience. They are definitely efficient but not the most professional outfit. Other customers seem to be happy with their work too. Decently priced.

I've been using All Weather Tires for over 25 years - no complaints here!
Prices are great, they have a huge inventory and work fast.

i use tire rack on line and then have them put on locally.

just bought a set of goodyear adventure kevlar all terrain tires for the jeep last week.. all season tires are okay but are really noooo season not 4 season as they really are a compromise all around.

if you are interested in good snow performance the tires will have a mountain snow flake symbol indicating severe snow service approval.

no all seasons get that rating but many all terrain do.
