Yes, near the TGIF.

Old Country Buffet is good option for this as everyone can pay for their own at register before seating. No extra bills to worry about as everything is included. Depending on size of group would call them first though. There is one on Hempstead Tpke in Levittown.

Sizzler!

FYI: ever watch that episode of 60 minutes or whatever show it was where they basically prove how nasty and gross a buffet is?
It's the equivalent of liking a stack of dollar bills and washing it down with a cup of pennies and using an unflushed urinal to rinse out your mouth.

Or the door latch inside the restroom stall (you know, the one you touch before you wash your hands)

Or the dollar bill the cashier gave you from lunch (was it ever stuffed in a strpper's gstring?)

Or the handle on a shopping cart...

I could go on and on...

Oh Ikea is a fun idea. Not necessarily that we need a room to reserve but if we could make some kind of reservation that a couple tables together would be available that would be good. Just about a dozen people coming together informal. Just a place where we could hang for awhile & exchange kris kringle gifts plus nosh without dealing with waitresses & group checks basically. Fudrucker's was good - that location changes hands every couple years though. What about Murphy's Cafe at the Milleridge? or the Gardeners' Cafe at Hicks? Either place big enough?

Ok yes - like that kind of place - thanks. Checked them online. Not sure about the menu offerings but maybe. We'll see.
