Just curious how much of a tip do you leave for the garbage men for Christmas?

My garbage men are cool and take everything I throw out without a hassle such as tying things up and cutting wood down etc. Is $50 enough or is that too cheap?

That's a good tip. I usually tip $60 simply because I never have a $10 bill.

Maybe my guys were a bunch of drunks but they would always tell me they prefer alcohol to cash. Don't ask me why.

That's sufficient. I usually do $60 since I usually only have $20's like another poster stated.

I don't know if this applies to Nassau Sanitation but this guy got fired and fined for accepting a $20 tip.

When my garbage men stop leaving my cans directly in front of my driveway so I have to get out of my car to pull into my driveway I will tip them.

I bet they'd stop doing that if you tipped them.

I usually tip them separately when I have something from big to throw out. Otherwise its $40 for 2 guys. And $20 for the mail woman.
