Wrongful arrest and imprisonment because they didn't like her having legal guns and taking a legal picture. Add that to the several million dollars that Rice cost the taxpayers so she can grandstand in front of News 12 and claim she is tough on guns, by wrongfully going after legal gun sales and gun stores, and we have a winning combination.
Yep, I want more laws so these clowns can cost us more money. Hopefully the woman can get her stuff back and use the earning to move to Free America.

What does the Nassau DA have to do with a wrongful arrest by the Suffolk County Sheriff's Office?
When I read about the award I recalled reading something which didn't jive back when she was arrested. I found the article on Newsday and (once again) the person who wrote the article phrased it in such a way as to make her sound like a gun-toting loon.
To wit:
Quote:
A Quogue woman remained in custody Monday on a trespassing charge after law enforcement officers found a shotgun, an assault rifle and a cache of ammunition in the front seat of her car, parked just outside the grounds of the Air National Guard base in Westhampton Beach, authorities said.
Buried deep down in the article was the fact that her firearms were legally registered; that fact was conveniently sandwiched between the comment that she was a 'divorced, unemployed mother of three' and that her behavior at arraignment was erratic.
This will end up costing the county a lot more than a million if convicted. Looks like LoGiudice will go to trial for assault.
Quote:
A judge won't dismiss charges against a Nassau police officer after an
alleged assault on a motorist, saying evidence a grand jury heard "is legally
sufficient" to support accusations in Vincent LoGiudice's indictment.
LoGiudice, 34, a seven-year police force veteran, previously pleaded not
guilty to three assault counts -- including two felonies -- in connection with
an April 25 traffic stop in Westbury that a store surveillance camera captured
on video.
Unless you are a taxpayer, and now these clowns cost you more money. I'm sure if Joe 6-Pack took someone at gunpoint, held them in a cell, refused to leave while they relieve themselves, etc they would totally be covered, right?

What the hell are you rambling about? I'm pointing out the fact that a judge upholding the assault charges on a Nassau cop have absolutely ZERO to do with an unlawful arrest of a woman by a Suffolk Deputy Sheriff.
