Vincent Smith School in Port W. comes to mind. may be a trek, but you can probably get bussing and it may be worth it.

Here's the link to the Diocese Schools site. I would contact them with specific questions.

Good luck!

Default sharon s

I am also looking for a public or private school on Long Island. I heard Vincent Smith might not be right for my son. There are quite a few schools in the city but I am not having much success on the Island. My school does not have a blended class and I need some other options. Anyone????

Hi,
The Lowell School in Bayside and the Summit School in Queens both have great reps.

The Eastwood school will take a child with an IEP.

Holy Child in Westbury will take IEP.

SLCD in Glen Cove
is a Special Ed School they also have a new HighSchool in Woodside Queens.

I took a tour of Vincent Smith nice school but in need of some fund raising to update.
