I was told by a Meenan rep that they don't compete with their "sister" companies, so if you have a contract/are coming out of a contract with Petro, Lewis, Romanelli and some of the other larger providers, they won't quote you. This is new, and this sucks. Has anyone gotten a deal comparable to the $2.19 ceiling price from another company? What is Slomin's at?

Wow. I bet almost cheaper than gas. Lol. Have to crunch the numbers and see.
I meant to convert to oil this summer, and ran out of time, to have to use oil for this season. I ran a Con Ed calculator about how much I would save in the upcoming 12 months by switching to gas heat. The calculator spit out a whopping $34!!!
We just bought a new (old) house this February, and the only thing new in it was the oil boiler (~2 years old). At least I won't be throwing out a practically new oil Burnham boiler.
What are the current Oil prices for an Oil contract? Looking for an Oil contract. Just got a quote from Meenan for $2.49 fixed, $2.29 ceiling and $2.14 variable. Thanks.
