Neighbor Flying Confederate Flag in Seaford

I can't stand how people act like there are not unwritten rules go certain areas and neighborhoods . seaford is not an area where one puts up Confederate flags and or nazi flag. You don't blast rap and salsa music either in seaford. Its not that hard to understand where you are and what is acceptable behavior per demographics. If you live in swampwater missisipi or bugalow Alabama then nobody cares about your rebel flag but in seaford its a big deal . if you are Jewish and have to live next door to this moron you will be pissed off. Blacks and Catholics will also be pissed off. That man or woman is making a statement and its out of place here in long island . watch his property value drop like a stone.

Go to the deep south. Down there they don't even consider Italians white....... I have heard southern people say that Catholics are not Christians and that it's a cult. I laugh at their stupidity and remind them that Catholicism has billions of followers and is the dominant denomination of Christianity. Long island has a rich culture in this melting pot. Long Island also was home to Camp Siegfried, and while not related to the goings on in old Yaphank, Long Island has a long rich culture of segregation that still continues to this day, especially in it's schools.


Nice thing about racism and bigotry, it can pop up anywhere. It often hits those who don't think that they are racist or bigoted against any group of people, but they are in their own way.

It's his prerogative to fly whatever flag he wants on his own property, even if it is a symbol of a failed effort by greedy southern plantation owners to preserve human slavery. I suspect that the guy flying it doesn't really care about the history of the flag and probably just wants to give everyone the finger.
