I wouldn't appear on camera either
Whatever his reasons are for flying the flag I wouldn't appear on camera either. It's a guarantee that the news is going to paint you as a racist due to the tragedy in South Carolina.
I think I've driven by this house in Seaford. The American flag, confederate flag, and even the gadsen flag is up there.

Just to point out that many people "like" things and don't understand what the history behind the article is. Obviously this is not the case here and whether he is simply a chop buster, an attention seeker or any other label we wish to put on him, his stance is what we are built on. Freedom of Speech.
Now, I would personally consider him an ignorant, insensitive lout if he indeed just put it up.

Stores may have stopped selling it, but it is not (yet) against the law to fly it on his own property. More manufactured rage that keeps the sheeple entertained.

Yup, it may be eccentric but it's not against the law.

Who cares? History has been misconstrued to suit the agenda of certain individuals. The Southern Cross was NOT the official flag of the Confederate States of America, the 'stars and bars' was. The Southern Cross was a battlefield flag.
If anyone should feel a particular flag is racist, their anger should be directed toward the 'stars and bars' which symbolized the Confederacy.
My own opinion is that the Southern Cross symbolizes rebellion and fighting for what one believes in. I don't expect anyone else to feel the same way.
