Going there tomorrow for my weekly food shopping. Prices seem decent but it's probably only grand opening sales. Steve Schiripa from Soprano's( Bobby Baccala) will be there Saturday from 1:30 to 3 pm. He has his own sauce that he markets. Has anyone been? I heard the fresh seafood is very good and reasonably priced ( for now I am guessing).

Our daughter says it's great. Parking lot is a p.i.t.a. but the ready made food is good quality and the produce is excellent.

Never mind Schiripa's sauce...learn to make your own. My little sicilian taught even me how to make the marinara, the gravy and even a fra diavlo.

I make my own sauce, never buy jar sauce.

Well I went there, very impressed with how the store looked but their prices aren't great. I would say not as expensive as whole foods or Uncle Giuseppe's but close. I spent $150 and did not half as much as if I went to shop rite or stop and shop. I would go back for their meats. I bought their homemade sausage without fennel and some boneless pork ribs and made a pork sauce with it. We had it tonight...Very good.

The only place I buy my meats is Lombardis Market in Holbrook or Costco when I come across a good deal on USDA Prime. Not mine, but you can typically find meat like this at Costco. Lombardi's also has the specialty sausages that you mentioned, so I'll have to check out Pat's for those as well to see if they compare!
