Tell me this wasn't the best summer? Perfect beach weather, great use of the pool, flowers and plants still look great.

I hate to see it go...

And now Fall comes and everything dies. Then we get a wonderful Northeastern Winter, complete with another Polar Vortex!

Also, gas prices were very low too so it made travelling a lot easier!

spectacular weather this summer. I recall a summer way back when I was a lifeguard where we recorded 20 days of rain in July. I don't think we had 10 rainy days during July and August combined.

Was that 1992? I remember the hottest days that year being the Thursday and Friday before Memorial Day, and then the first day of school (Wednesday after Labor Day), and the actual summer (including all 3 holidays) being cool and rainy.

Agree 100%! I'm usually not a big fan of summer and can't wait for fall to begin but this year was different. If summers like this are the trade off for a little more snow during winter I'm all for it.

well except for those damn asian tiger mosquitoes since late August. Even though I know to look out for them and stay indoors as much as possible, my legs still look like I contracted some disease.

Not sure where you all live but the mosquitoes on the south shore have been unbearable from the middle of August and are still biting away.

Weather wise it was a 9 out of 10.
