Smart move with the home surveillance. Sorry this happened to you. But if the original video is clearer, get a tech friend to help you print out a better freeze frame, and post them up like lost dog posters. Help keep this guy out of the neighborhood.
It's great you have a camera - for $99 and a wifi connection, everyone should. This guy should be caught soon enough. You should also invest in signs that say you have an alarm or camera - it would save you a lot of trouble in the first place as they'll just move onto the next house.

Cost us more than $99 but it's worth it. The reason we got them in the first place was in 2011 someone stole the tailgate off of my husband's truck. I was home at the time then but I was asleep and did not notice until I woke up. Getting 2 more cameras and having one face the street.
