Most definitely...however, there are great neighborhoods that are not a good fit for people based on other criteria..ie. Whitestone and Bayside are great, but not if you need quick transport via public trans...know what I mean?

I don't consider places like Whitestone, Bayside, Douglaston, etc. a part of Queens (even though they truly are). There is barely any public transportation and they're more like Long Island than Queens.
If I could move to Queens today, I would love to live either in Kew Gardens (off Lefferts) or in Forest Hills/Rego Park (off Queens Blvd). |

I do call those areas "suburban queens," but if you can afford the houses, want queens taxes, it's for you..see?

Ok so what are good school districts in Lindenhurst, Smithtown and Hauppauge? I looked in smithtown and saw some of the taxes were very low, isn't that a bad sign?
