Does anyone have any experience buying from Mr. CashBuyer (house flipper)? How is their quality of renovations and anything else to look out for?

I'd be leery about buying a house from a house flipper. The number one priority is get in and out fast and cheap.

Agreed here.. their goal is to make money..... They put in the least amount of money they can and then sell the house at full market price. Also the quality is probably not what you would get if it was owner occupied....

I would look at the last sale price and see what the guy is charging now... How much did he add and is it worth it in value

How can you tell if the home has been 'flipped' or not? Are there any tell-tale signs? We are trying to move and are currently looking at houses. We are trying to be smart about not buying something that was flipped at all.

Thanks for any info!

One indicator that it was flipped would be to look at the sales history, a foreclosure or very low sales price followed by ownership for only a few months before being sold again would be a good indicator.

I've never heard of Mr. CashBuyer, but I've heard good things about Long Island Cash Home Buyer. Maybe check them out as well and see if they can help. You can find their website here Long Island Cash Home Buyer - Sell Home Quickly hope this helps!

Watch a show like "Flip or Flop" a few times before buying a flipped house. While they do a great job fixing a house up, some of them beforehand are disasters and I doubt everything is totally fixed. Just fixed enough.
