I went to Smith Point Beach a few days ago and there was a giant hose spewing out sand by the ocean. The seagulls loved it but I am wondering if anyone knows about what type of project is being done.

Probably just building the beach back up to protect the flight 800 monument...and so there is actually beach there at all for the summer.
