Depends on the age of the child. The highlight is most of their homeworks are done. Usually they do homework from 1 to 1.5 hour..then its play time/projects until they are picked up. Also, these programs cost a pretty penny.

I seen this shuttle at that the Manhasset stop. The homes are mostly out of the OP's budget. I am curious how much they cost though.

That is correct. Some are one bedroom. I remember 2 bedrooms are about 800-900k and up.

There are some condo communities along the Jericho Turnpike in Syosset - I think one of them is called Woodbury Greens. Looks pretty nice and are priced under 900k. I don't think there are any huge differences between Jericho and Syosset School Districts. Commute time to the city seems to be similar for Jericho and Syosset.

I don't think you can get to Shea from Roslyn in 20-30 during morning rush hour, it probably takes that much time without any traffic. I will need to find that route if there is one takes <30 minutes as we drive out from Great neck everyday.

I won't be surprised it takes longer.... I've basically ruled out Roslyn due to longer commute and higher tax!

We are looking for single family house so will rule out condo....thanks though. I think commute from Syosset is longer than Jericho as the Syosset train is much less frequent and takes longer than the Hicksville train unless you drive from Syosset to Hicksville which might still takes a bit longer than driving from Jericho to Hicksville.
