Looking at homes off Oyster Bay Road (Persing Avenue) and another on Michael f street in Lattingtown. Do not know the area and would appreciate any feedback. These are not million dollar homes just nice middle class family homes. Just want to ensure the areas are safe and family friendly.
Hello! I live in Lattingtown. I used to live right off Michael F. First, Michael F area is NOT Lattingtown, it is Locust Valley but is cut off from the town of Locust Valley by Lattingtown. It is confusing but look at a map. Lattingtown has required 4 acre lots minimum. The area of Michael F is terrific for families with young children. I raised a big family there. Very safe. The are of Pershing is also a lovely safe area to raise a family but much harder for a kid to ride their bike safely. We chose the area of Michael F because there are side-walks everywhere and you can ride your bike because theres little traffic. Locust Valley is super nice and safe in general.
