It seems this topic has been discussed several times but each time the thread is hijacked and never answered.

Simple question: Has anyone ignored or fought a red light camera ticket? If so, what happened?

No. I saw the video of me breaking the law (did not fully stop to turn right on red) and decided to pay the fine.
Not worth losing half/whole day of work.

Does not pay to fight it. Just pay it.
Ignore it and they will come after you like any other unpaid ticket, probably beginning with a Reggie suspension and then your license. They purposely set the fine where it is so that people will just pay it because the time and expense to fight a no penalty(points) ticket just isn't worth the money or aggravation.

Just pay it. Take it like a champ.

Nope, I saw the video and I was wrong so I paid it. Husband got 2 of them 2 days apart same area and he was guilty as well. He paid his ticket. You cannot register your car or your license or license will be suspended if you keep ignoring the ticket.

Ignored it. Not sure if I moved before we re-registered that car or not. Did get a refund when we turned in the plates though.

Maybe but I'd think the OP would have led with that.

Some people just vandalize the cameras and keep getting themselves arrested.

Sure we can speculate on that. Not sure why anyone would fight a red light ticket with zero defensive.
