Not an expert, but doesn't it depend on condition, size, location and a zillon other factors?
Well there must be a baseline. At this point, people are renting their basements all over the place because the option is foreclosure or move out of Nassau & I'm just wondering what they're getting on an average. I know some people who are renting but didn't know them well enough to ask what they're getting for it although I know without it their homes are lost.
That's pretty funny considering I knew someone in Franklin Square renting to a Town Hall employee - hedged a bit when I asked for how much though so I didn't push it but I'm trying to find out if they're going for much cheaper than other above ground apartments
Maybe in a fancy town like Plandome but most people in average neighborhoods are struggling so basement rentals seem fairly commons - at least since I started paying attention - but most I heard about are already rented and to long time tenants too and everyone seems quite tight lipped with what kind of rents they're charging or paying.
One of my neighbors gets a grand month. She has a pretty sweet gig.
