All those places are so rich and snooty. I don't know how you could live around all that fakeness and materialism.

Plus, the houses have so much land and most people probably hire landscapers to do their lawn so I can imagine there being so little interaction btwn neighborhs so anybody that moves there better have some outside friends or they'll be living one cold, sad and lonely life.

I guess back in the day everyone from Muttontown had class instead of lowlife tacky (but rich) third worlders who are too low and cheap to pay maids so they held captive and enslaved two women ... complete with 22 hour workdays, beatings and other forms of torture ... all heinous acts committed in 21st century America no less.

Yes, they do have outside friends and that's why they have guest houses on their property so they can import these outside friends whenever the mood strikes them to do so.

Number 3, Oyster Bay Cove makes me think of that Sopranos episode where they wacked Phil who was based on Ghotti and Lynbrook reminds me of the train store where they whacked Bobby.

I have a married cousin living in Port Washington in a lovely townhouse in an all-residential area on a beautiful tree-lined street with nice homes that is within easy walk of downtown, shopping and all other services and amenities . . . and the LIRR Station is a 3-block walk from his home. I found Port Washington to be a very nice and desirable town that has alot going for it.

My favorites are :
1. Muttontown - cant go wrong ( good schools for all parts , borders nice towns)
2. Brookville- a little bit 'o westchester
3. Oyster Bay Cove - veryyy countryish
4. Matinecock - voted the 5th wealthiest town in U.S.A.
5. Cove Neck / Centre Island - very private ( not so great S.D)
6. Old WEstbury - gotta watch out for the westbuy s.d. area !!
You need to prefix your question with: If I had millions of dollars where would I live....

None of the above towns are affordable so I will say Glen Head.
