At least get the hypoallergenic pillows/covers since "the fabric's extremely tight micro-weave, dust mites have no way of getting into these pillows." Then you don't have to change it as often. $10 at Target and it feels soft like the ones at nice hotels.

Anywhere you look up potential health problems would be a good place to start. Do you deny it's true or something?

Hah - if you read it carefully it says it's ok to do it if you're the owner.

We have been going through so many pillows over the years, it's not even funny, but a few years ago, we bought buckwheat pillows, they are filled with buckwheat hull, and I love them-it take a bit of time, I would say, a week, to get used to them, but it's both very supportive and flexible in that you can basically shift the filling to accommodate how you want to sleep. No longer do we have neck pain or head ache when waking up in the morning. Just make sure you buy the good stuff, the brand we got from Amazon is Beans72 Organic Buckwheat Pillow - Twin/ Standard Size (20"x26"). My six-year old loved it so much that he took mine and gave me his regular one after which we bought him his own.
