Here in NY we vote for competent people. When they screw up we vote them out regardless of the party. Weiner was unsafe district until he lost his mind. Pataki won twice. Ghouliani won twice and then Bloomberg. Hilary won. She won because she was the best candidate . The crazy republican with the bat (pre trump) lost to Cuomo. NEw Yorkers are some of the smartest people on the planet.
I wish that was true, but politicians on both sides of the isle are lying self-serving media whores who know most people don't vote and most of those who do vote know very little about who they vote for.
I'm a conservative, but I'll never vote for a Long Island republican because most are nothing but lying liberals. Especially Jack Martins and Edward Ra. That doesn't leave me with much to vote for in this cesspool of lies, deceit, corruption and self-serving politicians looking out only for themselves to keep their unproductive jobs for life.
Imagine for a moment the people mass together and always vote against the incumbent regardless of their political affiliation. Within two elections things would turn around very quickly in favor of the people. The politicians would be on notice that their cushy unproductive job source is over and would have to find another career that offers high pay for little work. Maybe we would actually see people seeking office with a different personality and attitude.

Donald Trump should have asked Arnold Terminator to be his running mate. Those two would have been perfect together on the ticket. Good old family values.

Most important is HILLARY would appoint judges which don't follow the US Constitution. They will be loyal to the UN and Global order pushed by George Soros....open borders etc.
New York is a red state! That hasn't voted Republican in a Presidential election in over 3 decades and hasn't voted for a non-incumbent Republican since Ronald Regan edged Jimmy Carter by about 2 percentage points! Red state for sure, if you are delusional.
