Teachers in NY are one small step below when it comes to being able to do and say what they want with impunity. Heard a few stories when we lived in Garden City.

Now students whose leanings do not fall in line with her political views have to concern themselves with being graded more harshly. They are her subordinates, not her equals.
At least now some of the teachers are schtuppable.
When I was in school they were all fat old mean hags.
But yeah, they pretty much kept their private life and personal views to themselves.
Again, proves my point about social media. It melts brains.
