Shame is the only weapon Hillary has ever had. Unfortunately for her, we're shameless.

[quote=Quick Commenter;45617087]On the one hand she might claim she is exercising her free speech on Facebook and on the other hand her employer might deem that speech disruptive to its educational mission.

According to the article she has been “administratively reassigned”. Without being overly technical that is not considered discipline. Should she ultimately receive a written reprimand, fine, suspension, or termination - that is considered discipline. Teachers are routinely fired nowadays but that post (in and of itself) may or may not be a 'fire-able' offense.[/QUOTA

As soon as you cross that bridge mixing free speech and your job, you lose that ultimate right to free speech without consequences.

Agree 100%.

Teachers in NY are one small step below when it comes to being able to do and say what they want with impunity. Heard a few stories when we lived in Garden City.

Now students whose leanings do not fall in line with her political views have to concern themselves with being graded more harshly. They are her subordinates, not her equals.
