hey all, the time has come......Need a couple interior rooms painted. Looking for good service that won't rip me off or make a mess. Don't want service where I will be touching up after they leave either.

Can anyone recommend someone they were very pleased with?

thanks in advance

Bill Gelson is great. Highly recommend. (516) 242-1040. Used him to do an entire interior and exterior job.

You say "attention to detail". To me that means you want all wall and trim imperfections repaired with a final skim coat to even it all out. You may not know what you really want and the level of quality will determine the overall price. Explain to the painter what you mean by "attention to detail". Any good painter will give you a run down on how far you need to go with "attention to detail" with your current wall surface conditions.

Razor straight lines, brushed (not roller) trim and doors, and COMPLETE coverage is what I would consider attention to detail as far as just painting goes.

You'd be surprised how hard it is to find someone that can do the above listed.

Can't stand these guys who think they can free-hand a straight line. Some can, but most can't.

What KFC One described. That's all I need. I don't want to see blue touching white, paint touching floor, or spots not painted.

Anyone else know someone? Wanted to get 2-3 referrals I can give a call.

Thanks

What's that supposed to mean? Plus the statement about not free-handing a straight line is absurd!

I'm just the one looking for the painter. Don't care how they do it, care about how it comes out
