I am against the suspension, and I am glad he his back - this has nothing to do with his show... I have NEVER listened to it... it is about censorship and freedom of speech.

My point with South Park, Family Guy and the Simpsons is that "cartoon characters" can get away with saying more and being more edgy then real actors.

IMO, the FCC has given TV and radio the "list of words" that can not be used, as well as guidelines on nudity, sexual activity and violence on television, so why is it ok that characters on NYPD Blue could use the term "a---h---" and show Dennis Franz's rear end, and nearly a full frontal shot of several characters... not to mention Nip Tuck, which is basically soft core porn... yet Janet Jackson's "wardrobe malfunction" required Congressional hearings, Randy gets suspended and Imus gets fired?

WE all have the power... the option to turn off the radio or TV or choose a different show if we are offended. If enough people turn off the show, ratings fall and the producers either change the show or the show is canceled.

We have a war, mortgage crisis, economic issues and a Presidential election and this is ALL we can talk about??? Truly sad.

Actually I thought it was a nice diversion from all that other stuff...

If you heard the show or know anything about it, you would know he was joking.

I won't pay for radio so I can listen to some rude and disrespectful jackazz like Howard Stern. I never listened to him on free radio.

No one is "trying to be like Howard Stern"..... If you listened to this show and knew anything about it, you would know that, too.
Wow...randy and his show is a not as funny version of the stern show..

If you actually ever listened to HS, you would see randy is the version of him somewhat to an extent about 15 yrs ago...probably more like 20 yrs ago

Joking....a joke is the stab at the pipes freezing, then when it didn't work you left it alone, but he went on with stupid and said everyone after she already came back, what was funny about that...you don't even know funny, that wasn't even mindless humor...it was like a ******** bully in the schoolyard running his stupid mouth and clearly no mind...if thats funny...

If funny is trying knock on someone, or knock them down, i feel bad for you.

I actually feel sorry for YOU since that's what made Howard Stern "famous"..... I remember when he was at his "peak" and he would pick and poke fun at homeless people, handicapped people, etc... That was his idea of "funny".....

Randy wasn't "knocking" this woman or trying to "knock her down"..... you apparently didn't listen to the show, don't have a clue as to what goes on with the show on a daily basis, and don't know the jokes he makes at all the people who calls in.

Whatever.... you like Howard Stern. Keep paying for satellite radio so you can hear him curse (oooohhhhhh) or hear him degrade women (aaaahhhhh) or hear whatever other idiotic crap he does on his show. I'm sure you're a better person for it.

Actually to be honest, he simply points out how people will degrade themselves for fame..or money.
Having a game for homeless people to win money is degrading, setting them up in a hotel giving them food a bath, buying them clothes, giving them money helping them get off the street...wth did you listen to..surely not the show, you need to pay attention better, you hear what you want to hear...that is pretty apparent though

He doesn't degrade anyone , they do it to themselves...Lol he makes up a contest and people call up and want to do it...ah lol oh i see he forced those people to call in and get involved in a contest, he never abused them for where they come from

When has hs degraded someone, they did that of there own free will to themselves...no one called in and got abused because there from a town here or there entering a contest..

The lady calls in to get into a contest....she gets abused because of the town she lives in....are you serious...you can't distinguish abuse from that of funny and humor....
It was apparent to everyone else she wasn't amused...and he couldn't say ah im kidding....that is a j/o

Sure does show here...since that is what you find funny...

If you bought sirius you have access to 20 comedic channels other then hs, and way better then your boy who is not funny, not even getting into the music or other venues.

Apparently, you haven't a clue what I'm talking about....

As for your boy, HS... you're going to say that people call his show so they can be degraded and abused? I guess that shows the mentality of his audience.

As for the woman who called in to WBLI.... she has said on EVERY news channel that she thought it was funny and that she knew he was joking and she took absolutely NO offense at what was said. It was only a couple of other Mastic residents who got upset and the rest jumped on the bandwagon.

Whatever. It's over. He's back on the air. He's still making jokes about everyone and everything and he's still being fun.

Default Shock Jock Radio !!!!

I Used To Live In The Mastic Area In 1981...not So Hot,then Either!i Do Not Know Who This Man Is At The Station .i Live Upstate Now,and The Same Situation Prevails Up Here As Well.it Is All Done For Ratings......it Is Quite Obvious Many Listeners To His Comments Are Reflected Here In This Forum.they Are Upset, mad, and So Forth...but These People Will Continue Listening...thats The Way This Media Market Is,was, And Forever Will Be.i Was In Radio And Tv Back In The 1970s In Los Angeles California And It Was Just As Cut-throat Then As It Is Today...and I Am Speaking Of The On-air Talent ,always Trying Some New Fad On The Air To See If It Works And Plays To A Particular Audience...most Of This Is Mind-playing,to See,who Gets The Biggest Ratings.........:
