It depends on which place 'feels' right to you. Centerport and Northport still retain much of the 'small town' feel. Babylon, in parts, does to, if to a lesser degree. Oceanside is more built up.

Oceanside is a great town and wins my vote. The schools are great, plenty of everything you need nearby. It is near the ocean as well as 40 minutes from NYC. Pretty ideal!
