The milk and bread industry must be lining someone's pockets. Follow the money!

I ain't complaining. Although shoveling 2-3 inches of heavy wet snow yesterday seamed harder than 18 inches of fluffy snow.

Run for your life.... ice, flooding and rain.

If you really think it was bad out yesterday then I would just hibernate from December to March.

There was a lot of ice, flooding and general lousy conditions all over the island. So some business were closed today, so what? Thanks to all the people not being on the streets the plows were able to do their jobs.

Well the issue is that you can't really predict how bad rain on top of snow in freezing temps will be on its own. Let alone lead everyone to believe that it's ok to be on the roads.

Common sense dictates that the more cars there are on the road in inclement weather, the higher the probability of accidents. Just because nothing bad happened out there on the roads in hindsight, doesn't mean it wouldn't have. Sure businesses may have suffered, but who knows how many $1000 fender bender bills and hospital trips were prevented yesterday.

I'm the last person to defend forecasters, but they have a responsibility to the public too.

Party at your place.

And remember, friends don't let friends drink milk and drive.

The milk is good after it's thawed? It doesn't change the taste?
