We just sold our apt in Queens and bought a house in Plainview. Will move in by the end of March. We really hope our move is right and the best for our two little kids.

No reason it shouldn't be. Much better quality of life in Plainview than Queens IMO.

If you aren't feeling the love, start a new thread! Let us have our love fest in this otherwise dismal message board. And you have no idea what my mortgage is, I pay well under $11K in taxes and am home every night by 5pm. I live in Rockville Centre and love it! These stories do exist my friend.

I'm not being negative, I really do LOVE Nassau county I was trying to say that even with working hard and financial strain I love it here. I'll keep doing it so I don't live anywhere else.......geesh

drove through my favorite neighborhood over the weekend. Rocky Point (The Tides area).......:-) I just love it......It gives you that warm and fuzzy feeling inside, like it's a very comfortable and homey area. aaahhhhhhh one day i will live there dammit!
