It's kinda large (compared to the size of the house) but I like it, reminds me of a lot of homes I see in Freeport.

I do like a nice port coche and sort of remember the homes in Freeport you're referring to. The one in the earlier post is definitely too large.

Im guessing the port coche is the part of the house over the driveway. If it is, I dont really like it. I prefer sunny front yards and shaded back yards for some reason.

Here's some nicer port cochere (I misspelled it in earlier posts) Notice that these are all in scale with the house and are not competing for attention, unlike the one in the house for sale in the other post.

Me, too. It has something of a mission style to it. Plus it is my favorite color

"1.a covered carriage entrance leading into a courtyard. 2.a porch at the door of a building for sheltering persons entering and leaving carriages.
Also, porte-co·chère.

[Origin: 1690–1700; < F: gate for coaches] "

Actually, they are carriage ports....I don't see any horses patooties or carriages in that photo!

Here's the kind of horsey patooties that you find in a car port.

And a picture of a pony in a "port cochere"

The first one is more my kind of Pony!

That second one belongs in a Port Cucaracha!
