Exactly why I moved out into the woods.
No neighbors. No nonsense.
I can park my pick up truck on my front lawn if I damn feel like it and nobody is around to complain.
Wow that was a long time ago that post appeared and they just removed it. I am now going to have to search for it. The neighbors put up with that for ages.
Yet these were the same neighbors who park boats in their driveway. Odd that a boat, no matter how old, ugly or broken down is okay, but this guy's small plane is a problem. As I recall, the town had to either pass new rules or re-interpret some old ones to prevail in this case. I always felt there was much more to that situation than what the news reported. Odds are, a politically connected person lives in the street and doesnt like the guy. Virtually all enforcement at town level is random or political in nature.
You can't be serious............... This isn't Beverly hills. If it was you wouldn't have neighbors that have to work those kinds of jobs. An eyesore? Geeeeezus..
I understand about the bus problem, I have a similar problem. The bus is parked in various locations in front of mine & neighbors homes - really ugly looking out ur window at the side of a big yellow bus, which is sometimes parked on the wrong side of the street & even blocking a fire hydrant. And to top it off more people have moved into the bus drivers residence & they park in front of mine & neighbors homes when they have a huge double driveway, & their car is parked in the middle of their property & has not moved for over a month so there’s no parking in front of their house so they park all over the neighborhood. This is abusive & inconsiderate of fellow neighbors.
I have a recollection that last year right here on CD, there was a thread about a plane parked on a driveway someplace on the south shore. I have to assume that there is little that can be done about a commercial vehicle if a plane can pass.
Anyone else remember that thread?
