My Pets Vet in Huntington on Jericho Turnpike just up from Round Swamp Round.

Bridget Brooke is the main vet and owner. If she could be my human doctor, I would be her patient. The practice has helped us get through numerous issues with numerous animals. Has been the family vet for more than 30+ years-a lot of furbabies.

Good as GOLD

We use Paumanok Veterinary Hospital on 112 in Patchogue. They are great! We have a Siberian cat, and they were so good to her

There's a vet in Plainview on the side of the LIE, by PC Richards that is also very good. Very well regarded, I think open 24hrs, do major surgical procedures, etc. Can't think of the name, though.

South Shore Animal Hospital, on Merrick Road in Wantagh.

If you are willing to take the drive, they are the best (IMO, of course). My family has been taking our "furbabies" there for close to 30 years now. Wouldn't think of going anywhere else with my animals.

This is the E-Vet for My Pets Vet, and many other vets, so i have indeed been there too! Lots of pets in our family. I agree they are good, and as a pet owner it is a must to KNOW where the 24-Hour E-Vets are BEFORE you need to know where they are!

Good addition to a good thread.

There are soooooooo many bad Vets on LI, it is really important to know the good ones-after all your baby's life, and your wallet, is in their hands

Suffolk County- Chuck Timpone in Laurel. Known him for many, many yrs and he is top notch. Loves animals, has done much for humane rescues, has a real heart- not out for the money.

Geez, now if only he wasn't married. LOL
