It was time for a change in all the towns and counties, very surprised OB was so close, you wonder what it would take considering all the corruption.

TOH was really stunning but swing voters could no longer ignore the corruption and nepotism, still they elected some cronies but this was a big step. Hopefully Gillen will address all the problems they have with all the republican committee men occupying key positions.

An acquaintance of mine lives next door to her and says she's a lovely woman.

When is Angie Carpenter up for reelection. Heck she never even got voted in. Taxes keep going up. I wonder if it has to do with the town hacks that got 50-150k raises spread among various departments. I'm not a math genius but I'm sure that plays a part into the residents tax bill.

Islip is about as corrupt as it gets in Suffolk County. So many incompetent unqualified hacks on the pay roll. You be surprised how many hide in the Department of Environmental Conservation with no waste or environmental background whatsoever.

You have a deputy commissioners that used to repair computers for 15 years. Another hack "Deputy" that was arrested numerous times while on duty for his violent outburst and tirades by physically assaulting his employees. The incidents could write a book the size of a phone book yet nothing is ever done and these clowns are kept on the payroll.

Your honest mistake was assuming “waste management” meant landfill waste instead of managing to waste taxpayer dollars.

You would not believe how crooked Town of Islip is. Have a few friends [ Blue Collar] that work for the town. The flippen stories they tell would make your head spin.
Best way to find out a few things is "Follow the Money" AND who did what for who just before they get appointed to a new big $$$$$ or no show job.

Al Graf the former Wells Fargo customer service rep who tried to be a judge got destroyed in a landslide. Amazing the nerve some people have running for a public position without any relevant qualifications at all. Almost as funny as the guy who ran for Suffolk DA that builds and sails boats.
Sini was hand picked by Ballony for the job. He is nothing but a puppet
