Well I went to start my snow blower last night and it would not start. I am willing to pay someone to remove the snow from my drive way, front and back stoop after the storm is over. I am serious. DM me if interested I am in Islip.

We got a whopping 2" and the local news opted not to show the today show extending their on air time several hours. Who needs to hear the same thing over and over, people have left for work and their not watching TV to see where the latest accident has occurred. Every kid all ready knows there is no school....

What drives me crazy are the closings scrolling on the TV, who really cares if BB's Nail Salon is closed let the retail stores call those with appointments or put a voice message on explaining they are closed due to the weather.

Pull the spark plug and clean it, make sure gas is fresh.

Wasn't too bad this morning. Had a 3 seater to myself on the LIRR this morning. Everything went smooth. Tourist are still out in Manhattan as though they never saw snow in their life.

Last night, all the idiots who don't know how to drive came out. LI supermarket was crazy when I was there about 3pm. Roads today looks not bad at all. Cross Island appeared fine. I assume all the nut case drives will come out in full force tomorrow...which means stay off the roads tomorrow.

That's why I love my Toro single stage 2 stroke. Noisy, smoky, doesn't work well on more than about a foot or so, but that thing NEVER fails to start.

It might be the carburetor. Was there gas left in there from last year? Did you or your spouse run it completely dry before storage?

No gas left from last year, he ran it completely dry before storing it away. I have another snow blower which is bigger but I don't have the strength to pull the cord. It could be the carburetor. But last Sunday it ran fine go figure.
