expediter in TOB (home, home inspector, deal)

I was wondering if anyone can recommend an expediter in the town of oyster bay. I have the feeling I'm going to need one. I need to ask some advice on how to deal with potential inspection issues. But don't know who to ask. I figure an expediter could prep me for that.

Is "expediter" your euphemism for someone who pays a bribe to have inspection issues overlooked? That's what you make it sound like. Honest people simply hire a home inspector and take care of any found problems.
