the tax revolt party. HA!

Elections have consequences!

always passes fees, tax increases subsequent to elections.

So we are going to be charged increased fee to park the cars for essentially non-existent maintenance of the parking lots.

Perhaps we should also charge for ambulance services(which is a voluntary service) OOOPS already being talked about.

Why is there always an argument between political parties? Is this really why this fee was raised? People put in power will do this regardless of their political affiliation. They're all scratching each other's backs.

Despite running as a "Reformer" lol, Saladino is basically following the Venditto playbook to a T. This shouldn't be a surprise to anyone who has paid attention to how Saladino or the Town Board operates, but that is how they get away with it. People do not pay attention and but into the "Tax Revolt" nonsense and once Election season is over they do the same exact thing.

Ed Mangano ran as a reformer with the Tax Revolt party. Yeah, the same Ed under indictment for corruption. Thanks, Ed.

Default Newsday March 1

town sells 41,000 permits for 6,981 spots. How can this be ethical? If this were a private firm they're be heads rolling.

Secondly, According to TOB deputy highway commissioner " the fee increase would shift costs away from property taxes and on to users of the lots".

Let us employ this methodology for school taxes!!!!

Default I did not independently

confirm but Newsday cited 41K stickers.

Isn't that ridiculous.

Sort of like LIRR selling more tickets for a train than seats available - - the snappy comeback is

we sell a ride not SEATS.

Well you know that's a lie. LI's politicians, and it's not just here, but in every town and county on LI, are all jockeying for more spending, higher pay and of course, higher fees, surcharges and taxes. No one is addressing spending cuts, payroll cuts and work force reductions.

Families are also buying stickers for all of their cars because it's cheap but don't take all of them to the lot every day.
