Why is there always an argument between political parties? Is this really why this fee was raised? People put in power will do this regardless of their political affiliation. They're all scratching each other's backs.

Well you know that's a lie. LI's politicians, and it's not just here, but in every town and county on LI, are all jockeying for more spending, higher pay and of course, higher fees, surcharges and taxes. No one is addressing spending cuts, payroll cuts and work force reductions.
