New to renting in Long Beach/Lido Beach (house, to live)

Hello,

due to a number of life experiences my husband and I will be renting a house in the lido beach area for a year until we deiced where we truly want to live. We are an older couple and lived on LI but left after Sandy.
So how have things changed? How are things better or worse?

Same old.
Expenses keep rising, traffic still sucks.
Can't think of anything that has gotten better.

LB has bounced back very nicely.


I believe they still do not have a hospital though (could be wrong).


Not much has changed.
