Default Teacher's salaries

In NYC, to qualify for top pay you need 30 credits above your master's degree. Does the same hold true for Long Island? Or does it vary from town to town?

Thanks!

I believe that here in SD 4 (Northport-East Northport) the grid tops out at M+30.

In NYC you need a MA + 30 and (I think) 22 years to earn above $100k.

I stand corrected. I checked it out and SD 4 goes to M+60 and then they have another step for doctorate.

I didn't mean top pay in that way, I know that pay goes up per year. I just meant top pay scale for education level. But thanks for the info, everyone. I really appreciate it.
