Have a small leak on the roof. I'm too chicken to go up and check it out.

Anyone have a roof guy they can recommend that will repair and not try to sell me a new roof?

Thanks in advance

Not sure exactly where in Suffolk this guy is but I remember seeing the ads in the Pennysaver or one of those other mailbox rags - I'd hire him simply because he has a great name for his business - "Babe Roof."

Is there attic space that you can safely enter from inside is assess the leak. Is there a central a/c air handler up there that perhaps has its drain line clogged?

There is an attic area. Only access to it would be to cut a hole in the ceiling (which is what I did). No AC. 99% positive its coming from the vent pipe. Had a roofer over yesterday that went up and said there are a few loose shingles near the flashing of the pipe. He's going to come back this week and replace and repair. Hope it gets done correctly the first time. And....of course he told me I need a roof, which I dont.
