They're not posh, but they're waaaaay better than DD, which are basically pieces of cake with a hole cut out of the center.

Odd. That's what I thought they were supposed to be; pretty much what the dictionary says they are.

You want posh? In Australia there were places called Donut Time with very fancy donuts to the tune of about six bucks apiece.

Sounds like a donut to me. Not sure about Duck, but most new trendy donut and cupcake hype is over toppings. To me if the donut or cake isn't top o the line, loading it with icings and candy isn't fooling me into thinking it's great. The lukewarm review of a plain chocolate iced tells me volumes. That's one that should be on point or fuhgeddaboutit.

As someone who loves chocolate, I was underwhelmed. They were very generous with the icing, but the flavor reminded me of cheap novelty holiday chocolate compared to Lindt, Godiva, or Mrs. See's.

I just visited DD, they had long lines to order, another line to wait for the donuts to be made - the donuts are good but not worth the wait

If anyone is in Port Jeff, try East Main on Main donuts - lots of new flavors everyday, but unlike DD which just makes one donut type and then adds toppings, EMM will offer different style of donuts and some have fillings
