Hello Everyone,
I just got new House, and our contractor applying for building permits for second floor addition and extension , but just noticed it take 1-2month to get permit. As we need to move in before school starts, MY QUESTION is do I need permit for remodeling existing bathroom if I do it myself? I might need to replace sinks, vanity, toilet, tiles, bathtub.

So long as you are not relocating plumbing and electric and just replacing with like materials you don't need to apply for a permit.
