Have to wonder if they stopped all the construction how much traffic would improve.

Add lanes, extend on/off ramps, cloverleaf run outs where you can. The present infrastructure is no longer adequate to handle the ever increasing amount of drivers. Ever notice how short the entrance/exit sections are getting on/off the Southern State from Deer Park Ave? How about trying to maintain your speed on the Sunrise Highway westbound service road with people pouring off the Sunrise at exit 41 desperate to get across the two service lanes to catch the northbound Robert Moses with what seems like about 50 yards to accomplish the task.

Or set your cruise control to 55 in the southbound Sagtikos slow lane during rush, and try to make it past all the folks coming at you from the right side getting off the L.I.E. onto the southbound Sag without speeding up, slamming on the brakes, or changing lanes...

Give residents emoticon stickers for their cars based on how long they have lived on the Island. The longer you have lived here, the more driving privilege and right of way you have, with the lower ranking vehicles having to yield. Example below...

70 year resident...
60 year resident...
50 year resident...
40 year resident...
30 year resident...
20 year resident...
10 year resident...
5 year resident....
