Hi there. I use to commute into the city daily on the 6:34 train but received a transfer out to the long island office locate 2 years ago. Anyway, I will need to go into the city a few days here and there this summer but I do not need to report until 10 am. At what point does the lot at the Merrick station fill up? I would be getting a train around 830am? Am I out of luck at that time? I have heard that the Seaford lot always have open spots. Is there any validity to this? Thanks for any input. Unfortunately I am in North Merrick and cannot just walk to the train.

Merrick fill up at 8am. Might be some parking spots at the end of Bedford Ave or Smith street. Might be better in summer but it fills a lot faster in fall-spring

The no parking signs end a few blocks from the station. You could always park on the street and walk 5 minutes to the station. I see a lot of people doing this (Merrick)
